Visitors to Mercer County Can Delight in the Ten-acre Maze, Hayrides and Pedal Tractor Races

PITTSBURGH, Pa. --September, 2009-- Looking for more than just fall foliage tours this autumn season? Visitors to Mercer County can delight in adventures for the whole family to enjoy. Mercer's McCullough's Coolspring Farm Market will host its annual fall corn maze starting September 18 to November 1.

This year, visitors will be given a treasure map to navigate their way through the ten-acre maze that traces the outline of a pirate ship. Guests can also challenge friends and family to a race  around the new pedal tractor racetrack or take pleasure touring the hay maze located inside the Coolspring Farm Market’s traditional Western Pennsylvania barn. Hay rides are available for those who wish to enjoy the crisp fall air, while taking in the picturesque autumn landscape in one of Pennsylvania’s most colorful foliage destinations. And don’t forget to visit the historical schoolhouse where seasonal decorations and unique antiques are available for purchase.

McCullough’s Coolspring Farm Market is located on 537 Franklin Rd. (US Rt. 62) in Mercer, Pa.  The hours of operation are Fridays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Refreshments will be available on site. Admission is $7.95 per person.
