MERCER COUNTY VISITORS CAN CELEBRATE EASTER IN MARCH WITH FREE SWEET TREATS AND CANDY FACTORY TOURS

Pittsburgh, Pa.- March 4, 2009-As Spring approaches, visitors to Mercer County can indulge in free sweet treats and Easter activities for the whole family to enjoy during March at Philadelphia Candies in Hermitage, Pa. and Daffin's Candies Chocolate Factory in Farrell, Pa.
Philadelphia Candies will host an Easter Factory tour on March 28 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. As chocolate is being made and decorated, guests can walk through the factory and experience the sweet delights of the candy-making process. Available to visitors will be samples, advertised specials, raffle drawings and costumed characters. The event is free for all who wish to attend and is located on 1546 East State Street in Hermitage.
Swizzle Stick Day on March 29 at Daffin's Candies Chocolate Factory in Farrell, Pa. will feature an amazing 700 pound chocolate bunny and the history of chocolate in the making. Visitors will receive free bunny ears and chocolate samples as they walk through the factory and experience the production of chocolate. Swizzle Stick Day takes place from Noon through 4 p.m. and is located on 7 Spearman Avenue in Farrell.
