PENN’S WOODS WEST TO HOST 22ND ANNUAL FOLK ARTS FESTIVAL FEB 14-15
--Western Pennsylvanian Arts and Crafts on Display at Mercer Area High School--
Pittsburgh, Pa. – February 2, 2009- Has Western Pennsylvania’s weather given you cabin fever this winter season? Visitors to Mercer County can escape their indoor routine when they attend the Penn’s Woods West 22nd Annual Folk Arts Festival on February 14-15 starting at 10 a.m. This year’s event is themed “Meet Me in Mercer” and will be held at Mercer High School, located on West Butler Street.
The annual festival will feature over 200 artisans and craftsmen from several different states. Guests will experience delicious home cooked food, live entertainment, children’s activities, a quilt show and much more.
Admission:
- Adults- $4.00
- Senior citizens- $3.50
- Children 12 and under- Free
Tickets for the festival are good for two days. If visitors bring a non-perishable item, they will receive $.50 off of the admission fee. A shuttle service will be available from various community parking areas free of charge.
