MERCER COUNTY TO HOST 5TH ANNUAL MASTER GARDENERS SEMINAR
--Garden Enthusiasts Prepare for Spring Despite Cold Weather Conditions--
MERCER COUNTY, PA.-- Dec. 29, 2009-- As garden enthusiasts anxiously await the arrival of spring, visitors to Mercer County can get gardening information and inspiration at the 5th Annual Mercer County Master Gardeners Seminar on January 9th.
The theme of this year’s gardening seminar is “going green.” Visitors will have the chance to listen to guest speakers and get tips and ideas on how going eco-friendly can improve life at home. Door prizes will be given away and guests will have the chance to enjoy breakfast and lunch while meeting other gardeners from the Mercer area.

The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Mercer County Cooperative Extension Building off of Route 19 North, one and a half miles North of Mercer.
