MERCER COUNTY TO HOST FAMILY FUN END-OF-THE YEAR ACTIVITIES
Wrap-Up 2010 with Concerts, Shopping and Celebrations

MERCER COUNTY, Pa. – December 14, 2010 – As the end of the year approaches, Mercer County has plans to wrap-up 2010 with an exciting finale of events. Visitors to Mercer County will take pleasure in concerts, shopping and celebrations suitable for the whole family to enjoy as they welcome in the New Year.

For the many people who kickoff their holiday vacation one week prior to Christmas, families and friends will be able to enjoy an “Evening of Christmas Classics and More” with professional singer Aaron Shaw on Dec. 17 at the McQuiston Center by the Park in Sandy Lake, Pa. The Sharpsville native and cruise ship entertainer will sing traditional Christmas songs along with many other classics. For guests who wish to dine at the buffet before the concert, dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and tickets will cost $20. For those that wish to attend only the concert, tickets will be $10 and will begin at 7:30 p.m. The event is located on 29 Railroad Street and is open to the public. Welcome the New Year with friends and family at the Radisson Hotel in West Middlesex. The New Year’s Eve celebration will feature the local band Five Deep as well as a “Time Warp” celebration with 80’s music band Edison’s Medicine in the grand ballroom.
